Project Details

This project is for the House of Praise Church. The church currently occupy the former Gala Bingo building at 262-274 Camberwell Road.

The origins of the project are the church originally wanted to refurbish and extend the existing building to provide office space and meeting rooms, however they did not have the funds to complete the scheme as a straightforward extension.

The project creates 43 new dwelllings including one, two and three bed homes, and five wheelchair accessible homes. These are located to the west of and above the church's new spaces and the future resale value of these dwellings has been used as a funding mechanism to enable the church to extend their space.
