This project is a part twelve and part five storey building on a prominent site on the corner of Norman Road and Greenwich High Street. The lower part of the building responds to the lower scale of the buidings on Greenwich High Street, and the higher part of the building responds to the emerging scale represented by the adjacent scheme on Lovibond Lane.
To the west of the project is the Grade II listed Greenwich Pumping Station. The materiality and detailing of the scheme responds to this precedent, albeit in a contemporary format.
The project has provided a positive contribution to the streetscape, mending a previously fractured corner of London.
